APPLICATION INFORMATION:

The KONOCTI ROD and GUN CLUB Scholarship Fund was organized to give aid to students with a desire to continue their education and pursue a career.  The KRGC awards the Scholarship annually based upon academic achievement, career goals, community service, extracurricular activities, and development of leadership skills.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

Any student meeting state mandated HIGH SCHOOL graduation criteria entering an accredited college/university or trade/vocation school is eligible.  Applicant must be a High School Senior (or equivalent), a resident of Lake County, California and a legal citizen of the United States.

WHAT IS THE SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT?

The KRGC Executive Committee acting as Scholarship Fund Directors will determine the award amounts depending on the funds available.  Funds will be disbursed upon receipt of enrollment transcript.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applications are accepted each year between March 1 and May15.  The following items must accompany the application.

                              Official High School Transcript (or Equivalent)

      Two (2) current letters of recommendation

                    Essay

 * Optional * A brief personal history, future goals, etc.

If any of these items is missing or incomplete, the application will NOT be considered!

Application packets must be postmarked on, or before, May 15.  KR&GC will not process packets postmarked after this date.
