The complete range rules will be posted shortly...
Until then, follow some basics.

Keep all firearms pointed in a safe direction.
Keep you finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
No loaded firearms behind the firing line.
Keep your actions open behind the firing line.
No handguns on the rifle range. Hunting handgun shooting
to 100 yards exempt. Rounds must impact in the impact area.
No one allowed down range while firearms are on the firing line.
Take your trash home.

  1. There will be NO vehicles on the pistol range.
  2. There will be NO shooting from under the covered porch of the Sheriff’s range building.
  3. Leave NO spent casings or hulls on the Sheriff’s range.
  4. DO NOT shoot at anything on the range that you did not bring yourself, and when you are finished, take it with you.
  5. All targets on the pistol range will be placed AT the berm.
  6. There will be NO vehicles down range on the rifle range after the first rain in the fall, unless it is in connection with a match, and the match director deems it necessary.
  7. DO NOT shoot at cans, bottles, rocks, or anything else on the GROUND! ALL targets should be suspended on a target frame, so the bullets impact the bank on the pistol range, or the 100 or 200 yard bank on the rifle range.
  8. DO NOT come to the range with the hopes of “FINDING” a target. If you find a target, it probably isn’t there to be shot up. Bring your targets, shoot them, and take them home with you.
  9. Take ALL of your garbage with you. It has come to our attention that the garbage cans on the range only encourage some members to leave their junk, so they will be removed.
  10. Any member can approach any other member on the range. Always be courteous and friendly. If rules are being violated, contact an officer of the club with names and/or vehicle descriptions and license plate numbers. DO NOT PLACE YOUR SELF AT RISK CONTACTING A BELIGERENT SUBJECT.

BE SAFE! and BE COURTEOUS!
