Family Fun Shoot

Saturday May 8th, 2010
10am to 3pm

Presented by Lake County 4-H and The KRGC

Bring your family out for a day of FUN and safe shooting at the Konocti Rod and Gun Club range at the end of Highland Springs Rd. in Lakeport. There will be one-on-one coach/shooter instruction including air rifles by Crosman, .22 rifles, center fire rifles, shotguns and black powder rifles. Lots of reactive (FUN) targets. All firearms and ammo provided for FREE, (no personal firearms please). We will have educational displays from Safari Club International, FREE gun locks and safety literature. Plus antique firearms on display and available to shoot. Large Hot Dogs $3 and water or chips available for $1.00 each. Need info.? Go to

Learning about a piece of history

This is a great opportunity for kids to learn gun safety rules and earn a patch shooting .22 rifles. Safety information, literature and free gun locks will be available for everyone in attendance.  There will be a nature display with animal pelts from Safari Club International and displays of antique and military firearms. 

There will be a door prize raffle to win great gifts.  Everyone attending gets a FREE ticket!!!

Lunch Special: $5 for Large hot dog, chips and a water..... or Large hotdogs will be available for $3 and cold water or chips for $1.
